That’s why over the past few years, we’ve invested heavily in technology - because we believed that it would make a significant difference for you and your clients.
What have we done
2018
- Aim to review all post received after initial assessment within 24 hours to speed up time to offer.
2019
2020
- Ability to provide day 1 offers
- Launched automated income verification tech, removing the need for bank statements and pay slips where possible.
2021
- Implemented automatic identification and verification to remove the need to provide certified ID where possible
- Access to subject matter experts via our Underwriting Expert mailbox
- Developed a new API for instant fraud checks and financial crime assessment.
2022
- All properties valued using an AVM through an API which is supported by Cloud technology - this enables instant valuations where the application qualifies for an AVM and also allows the Society to track and monitor AVM performance with a view to increasing usage
- New Build Help Desk launched for dedicated enquiries outside of BDMs
- Twenty7tec Integration - a full integration at Full Mortgage Application & DIP straight into Lender platform
- Moved to LMS for conveyancing panel management services in August 2022, which means we can add conveyancers to our panel within hours rather than days.

We're constantly looking for ways to improve the customer journey, using technology and external data wherever possible. Our investment in tech has enabled us to provide straight through mortgage journeys for those low-risk simple cases and allow our experienced underwriters to be there for you on the more complex cases that require the human touch
