Community Giving – have you nominated yet?

Community Giving is back. Last year, thanks to nominations from brokers and employees of intermediary firms, 40 amazing causes received a £1,000 donation. Now we’ve got another 40 donations of £1,000 to give away.

One of the causes to benefit from last year's Community Giving donations was St Petrock's in Exeter.

This generous donation will help St Petrock’s to provide essential housing and homelessness services to the 50 – 80 people who visit our homelessness resource centre each day in winter. The specialist housing advice, welfare service, hot meals, showers, laundry facilities and on-site healthcare provided are the first step for many towards more settled and fulfilling lives.

Visit our website to find out more about some of last year’s successful nominees and how you can nominate a housing or homelessness charity or community group you care about to receive a donation. But, you must be quick as nominations close at 5pm on 30 October 2020 - nominate now.

Say hello to Auto Income Verification. For suitable cases the functionality automatically assesses your clients income when you submit a Decision in Principle (DIP) and could eliminate the need for sending us payslips or waiting for income to be manually assessed by an underwriter. It won’t apply to every case, but will offer a quicker ‘yes’ where it does. Ask your local BDM for details.
